In un film dove il biancoè così dominante, senza un'adeguata calibratura di luminosità e contrasto il quadro avrebbe potuto rivelarsi poco efficace e incisivo, o quantomeno artificiale. Ma il blu-ray è stato realizzato a regola d'arte e pertanto su questo fronte il video è un grande spettacolo. Fin dalla prima scena, quella delle tende di un campo sull'Everest e con l'abbigliamento invernale dei protagonisti, siamo colpiti da una raffica di colori vivacissimi e saturi, che quasi emergono dai fondali biancastri di neve e ghiaccio. Il croma resterà esuberante per tutto l'arco del film, con i maestosi panorami dell'Everest davvero formidabili nelle varie sfumature. La già citata resa del bianco di neve e ghiaccio, con le sue sfumature grigiastre, è impeccabile anche nei momenti più concitati e caotici. Perfetta anche la resa del nero nelle scene notturne, mentre quella degli incarnati è sempre naturale.

La resa della traccia inglese codificata Dolby Atmos è letteralmente spaventosa. Il senso di immersione è totale, nei momenti più difficili la sensazione di disperazione e di gelo è quasi palpabile, grazie alla vorticosa attività di tutti i diffusori che regala una profondità sonora di primo livello, con tanta precisione e soprattutto con una violenza di impatto quasi fisica. Perfetta la resa anche dei momenti più tranquilli, con rumori ben dislocati all'aeroporto, nella città o anche nella calma notturna del campo base

Se il reparto tecnico è a livelli supertop, non altrettanto si può dire di quello riservato ai contenuti speciali: si tratta di contributi interessanti, ma nemmeno mezz'ora di extra e un commento audio sono un po' troppo poco per accompagnare adeguatamente un film che di motivi di approfondimento ne avrebbe a decine. In ogni caso, oltre al commento audio del regista, troviamo innanzitutto un making ofdi 11 minuti, che punta soprattutto sulle dure condizioni di lavoro di cast e troupe sia in Nepal che in Italia: un contributo interessante, la cui sola pecca è di essere troppo breve. A seguire troviamo Imparare a scalare, una featurette di quasi 5 minuti nella quale il cast racconta la preparazione fisica effettuata per il film. Si prosegue poi con Una montagna di lavoro, 5 minuti su come l'Everest sia stato ricreato in studio per certe scene con l'aggiunta di effetti digitali, e per chiudere La vera storia (7 minuti) sui drammatici eventi reali a cui il film si ispira con tanto di interviste ai familiari delle vittime.

Trovo sia stato fatto un buon lavoro su questo film sia per quanto riguarda il video che l�audio .
Interessanti anche gli extra.
Prodotto completo sotto ogni punto di vista,sono contenta dell� acquisto fatto anche dal punto di vista estetico: curato nei dettagli ,edizione numerata e completa; inoltre l� imballaggio è impeccabile.
Sicuramente acquisterò ancora su FA.Grazie
